Willingness to accept vaccination against SARS-cov-2: A survey of junior doctors

Introduction: The Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has become a cause of significant morbidity and mortality in the world. There are currently 4 COVID-19 vaccines have been developed for mass vaccination to combat disease. Some people, however, expressed safety efficacy concerns with regards vaccines. In Ghana, junior doctors, being frontline likely first encounter patients presenting COVID-19. They may also highest direct exposure virus even though their outcomes after infection be good. study sought determine potential acceptance rate vaccine among factors that will influence whether they recommend patients. Methods: was an ethically approved anonymous cross-sectional survey willingness accept SARS-CoV-2 doctors Ghana. designed using Google forms posted various doctor’s social media group pages such as WhatsApp Facebook participants responding 15 items. Results: Out total 305 participants, females were 155 (50.8%). Of respondents, 171/305 (56.1%) had cared Covid-19 before, 51/305 (16.7%) previously 204/305 (66.9%) willing take when available. Females more those who same family others. Conclusion: This showed than average vaccine. Female gender, living extended history SARS-Cov-2 positively associated Doctors members
